Hi guys, I quite new to the CAM. I'm using 3 axis Fanuc controller mill and 9.1 version of mastercam. My question is, how can i control my cutter wear? e.g : I'm ramping a 1" hole to 0.5" depth. my finishing cutter should make the last cut of 1" diameter at 0.5" depth. after checking the hole, the diameter is small of 0.0039".

mastecam 10 has icons and the back ground is blue if you are use to using 9.1 it is best to stay with it and break your self in to 10 a little at a time the interface is tollally different, I will be getting mastercam x3 next month and the salesman is going to show me how I can still use the drop down menu if i want I guess you just have to get use too it

SRT, SP1 is Service Pack 1. It's a patch to "fix" bugs in software. Yes, VB is Visual Basic.. Mastercam 9.1 has the ability now to use Visual Basic Scripting. There's an editor inside Mastercam now for doing that. With the new SP1, that editor doesn't open any more. I'm not sure about a list, I'd be interested to see one as well. 'Rekd teh eRaid!!
Hi. I am using Mastercam V9.1 SP2 to mill out a handle out of plastic. I construct two 0.25 circles 1.0" from each other with a tangent arc or fillet with a 3.0" diameter between them. Each time I select createarc or fillettangent2 entities, type in 1.5 for the radius, select the two arcs I get many white circles around the two 0.25 circles.
